tedious reflections

so, i have this super soft blue journal i recently acquired (couple months ago?) and it's more of a means to jotting down at random times of the day the short whimsical thoughts that come about that i would usually regret not writing down.

i have made it my goal to capture and hoard these in-the-moment-super-important ramblings kinda like those eloquent streams of thought you have in the shower that you swear should win some noble prize. i always feel like i solve worldly dilemmas in my shower and it is completely gone as soon as i step out or its turned into incoherent ramblings of a two year old.

so it is a collection of wants, needs, thoughts, to-do's, reflections, quotes, book quotes more often than not etc. i have this hobby of writing down phrases, words, quotes that i like from what i am reading and just collecting them obsessively because i swear one day i will want to revisit them. also of course, inspirational things in all forms.

and now i am starting to write down, when i don't have access to a computer, new post ideas or food ideas or just random things to look up later. it has become very very useful and slowly i am learning how to actually write what i am thinking. it is a very hard thing to do for me, i tell ya. finding the words or even just writing down the thoughts in your head is so tedious at times.

why i mention this is i am thinking i will be sharing and writing some things from the journal here so be aware, some incoherent things may be coming your way. progress though right?!

p.s. as of today i am really tempted to call this blog "meeting peter at the perk" pretty sure only one person would know what that is from.

little bundles of joy

but for the sake of some little mouthful of meat, we deprive a soul of the sun and light, and of that proportion of life and time it had been born into the world to enjoy.
